  10. Was at the Hamilton, Ontario show tonight. I can say I enjoyed the show and I am excited for the new album. Really liking what I have heard so far BUT I was greatly dissapointed in the lack of worship and exclusion of the point (God’s glory) at the show tonight. This was always a key element in what made Five Iron and what made your shows AMAZING. Where is your focus? So what if you are “touring with secular bands?” Why are you anyway!!? Went to a show way back when. We Canadians drove all the way down to Michigan to see you guys at a little church and we were all blown away. Can say that the show tonight was lacking a key element!

    • We are called to go into all the world and preach the gospel. FIF has never been your run-of-the-mill “Christian” band. They are real people and share their testimony when the Spirit moves them. By new fans hearing them at a secular venue, they are exposed to their music and their light shines in those dark places. God bless you, but please lighten up! 🙂

      • They aren’t run of the mill for sure that’s why I love them! I find it very hard to listen to a LOT of “Christian” music out there and I respect their decision to venture into the indy/secular market. I guess I was looking for Five Iron as a whole as I remembered them. Fun, amazing shows but also the praise and deeper parts and hearing the silly and serious of Reece as well. They did not play Every New Day or Dandelions and left out lyrics of some songs at this show. I left wondering why they got back together as “Five Iron Frenzy” instead of a new name. I would listen to anything Reece put out there! Regardless I am loving this album.

If I wanted to listen to redundant, talentless, manufactured religious tripe I’d go to church on Sunday.

FIF has never been about that flavorless garbage.
